We here in PR have another little problem regarding local channels. If any of us here asks for any of the dish latino packs, Univision, Galavision, Telemundo and Telefutura will be blocked. I know that Teleonce (WLII) is a subsidiary of Univision, and Telemundo (WKAQ) is now a subsidary of Telemundo International, even if they (WKAQ) dont transmit any of the programming of Telemundo International. But why block Galavision and Telefutura? We dont have any afiliate of both of them. More than 10 years ago we had here Channel 7 retransmitting Galavision, but they ceased about 5 to 7 years ago when they changed from owner. So for the interest of every dish customer here in PR, is there something that can be done????
I might say that Univision of PR is an affiliate of Univision in the states, but they dont transmit more than 20% of the programs of the states and Telemundo of PR even transmit to the states some programs to be seen there.
More than that and this is why I think someone bent the rules, Cable TV can carry those channels, at the same time as the locals, why can this happen???
