Hello,
I got my superdish installed a few weeks ago and the dish installer did a fair job. I have some pixelation on my locals. I then got my roof reshingled and thought I would attempt to have the roof guy point the dish while I hollered about the strength. Well I am now more impressed with the "fair" job that the installer did, I still think it is a fair job and I could do better if I had some tips. I live in Milwaukee and have my locals and the dish 120 pak with HBO. I have a clear line of sight as well. Does anyone have any suggestions or a link they could point me to????
Thanks,
Matt
Personally, I would have the tech who came out originally come back out and have them do it. You sound like your still in your 90 day installation warranty. So therefore it would be free.

Thanks for the info, I like that I might be under the 90 day warranty. Does that include if you only upgraded and are not a new sub? I will try calling Dish back, but, the guys that came out didn't really appear to be "Techs" :) So if I call and have someone come back I would hope that it isn't the same family with the rusty old van that has the Dish Magnet on the side...
Anyhow, right now I have two sats at about 100 strength and the other is at 80. I still seem to have cutouts, short pixelations periodically on my locals. I am assuming it is the one at 80 but I am not sure what sat carries what station. The other stations seem fine... Do my strenghths sound alright? I have watched the meters for about a minute or so and they seem to stay pretty consistent.
Any thoughts??
Any installation direct or through a retailer there is a 90 daay installation warranty. SO yes, your covered. I assume that your 80% signal strength is the 105/121 signal? If so, then it is an awesome signal. Not many people get that strong of a signal. Do you have more then 1 receiver installed in your home?
