921 and VOOM and DVHS

Can you run the VOOM feed to a DVHS or recorder such as the Dish 921?

Not the HD feed. But you can run it to a WVHS VCR.

WVHS vcrs have component inputs from which you can record.

You can record from Voom via the S-Video feed since all outputs are hot. I record on Standard speed and get 4 hours from a SVHS tape set to DVHS and the playback image is just as good as a DVD.

And of course you can record SD to a Replay, Tivo, etc; But for 1080i recording, your only option (under $15k or so) is a WVHS VCR recording analog 1080i and stereo only sound.
