As the title states - if I have D* and move to a Pegasus area, what will happen? Does my contract continue, but Pegasus picks up the billing or do I stay with D* as my carrier? Or am I screwed and D* sees it as me leaving?

Thanks,
Chris

Chris, you'd be better off just not telling DirecTV you've moved, provided you're not moving so far that your local channels would change -- or at least so far that you couldn't continue receiving your current local channels. Pegasus charges more, offers less service, and is just generally a pain to deal with. But if you must, just a phone call to them should get you set up and transferred from DirecTV.

What do you do about your billing address if you don't tell them about the move?

I'm actually moving to an apartment for 6 months while a new house is built. The apartment is in D* territory (one town over) and the house is in P* territory. So I was hoping to use the 'temporary' location as an opportunity to get D* (with some better hardware deals). I can try the no notification of moving - I guess I have to do CC autopay and the like in order for that to work?

Thanks again,
Chris

Your service address and your mailing/billing address can be different.
