Bug Report: L180 - Streaks on left hand side of picture in 4x3(1)-ZOOM and Stretch 2

I'm sorry for the complaint, but I have noticed that I have horizontal streaking black lines (as if watching old film) on the extreme left side of my picture when viewing HD in the Zoom or Stretched 2 mode. The streaking is only seened on one fifth the total display area of the picture, and are thin black horizontal lines which last only a second, only to be replaced by other thin black lines in another area of the screen always on the left hand side. The lines completely disappear when you change the aspec ratio to any other mode. Has anyone seen this? First generation 921, January vintage. Sony 61" 4x3 set.

I see this same thing when I switch to 480 p output via component.

When you place the picture on pause the streaks disappear even when you slow motion it. I'll have to see if I can capture it on playback. The effect I described appears most in the OTA mode but still can be seen on anything that is HD when set at ZOOM. :confused:

I found a workaround for the problem with the streaks. I set the aspec ratio at 16:9 (I have a 4x3 set) and stretched the picture giving me almost the same ratio as Zoom or Stretched 2 mode without the lines that I decribed previously.
