How did the current superstation lineup of KTLA, WWOR, WSBK, WPIX, and KWGN originate as the "superstations"??
I know in the late 80s/early 90s we had WOR EMI Service on our cable system from New York. Not sure what EMI ever meant.
KWGN was available on C-Band but didn't join the superstations on Dish until the late 90s I think. KTVT 11 used to be one but CBS bought the station when KDFW went to Fox. Why were stations KPLR 11 St. Louis and WTTV 4 Indinapaolis never superstations? Tribune now owns them both as well and they are WB affiliates.
