Bug Report L180: Cannot watch OTA while recording 2 sat channels

In the previous release I'm about 90% sure I was able to do that. This is how to reproduce the problem.

1) set 2 timers to record 2 back to back shows such as 8:30pm on channel 107 and 9:00pm on channel 107. This will by default overlap the timers at 9:00.

2) start watching an ota channel about 8:55. Within a couple of minutes it will pop up with the message that recording can only be carried out in live mode.
3) Choose 'use main to record'. The screen will go black and you'll get the 77 unk error.

This has happened twice to me and I'm almost positive I previously could record 2 sat channels while watching an OTA channel.

Has anybody else seen this problem and had it give the 77 unk error?

I don't think you could. It can only use 2 active "tuners", OTA or SAT (of course only one can be OTA).

But, I have seen the error your are talking about. Basically, if a 2nd tuner is needed for a recording, and you are currently using it for the "other side". (ie it needs to record SAT and you are viewing OTA or it needs to record OTA and you are viewing SAT), it will fail.

It is imponderable to me that those basic test cases weren't tested before this product was released let alone during one of these patch releases.
