I just tried to watch my 4/20 recording of 24 (From Fox in Dallas 4-1 (really 35).

Instead I got WB (33-1, really ?? (I think 32).). Info on the show does indicate it is 4-1.

My recording (using the same repeating timer) this week with L180 did record the correct channel.

I just had a similar one. My Navy CIS timer "forgot" to change channels and recorded 24 instead - while the other tuner was recording 24 from a different station.

Yep, I have reported this behavior several times. It drives me nuts as I have to dual record all my favorite shows using my 721 as a backup, as you never know when the 921 will fail you.

It is really weird that if you have set up to record say channel 003.01 and the 921 screws up and records 010.01 instead, the PVR menu actually shows that 003.01 was recorded, so you know that you had the timer event set up correctly.

The problem does not just happen when recording. I live in the Washginton Dc area and periodically my NBC affilate shows on the channel for ABC and vice versa. One day all is OK and the next day they are flipped. On Monday all was fine, on Tuesday the ABC channel was showing NBC. I called DISH and the tech had me re-boot the system. When it came back up the problem was reversed, the ABC affiliate was on NBC. NBC correctly showed the NBC channel. I correct the situation by deleting all the HD OTA channels as re-scanning but a few days later their wrong again. This only started happening after DISH downloaded the latest software on 4/16 so I suspect it is an error in the 921 software They told me teh engineers would look into the problem but since they couldn't confirm if it was just my box or if others had the same problem they weren't sure if it was their software. Seeing other posts here makes me sure it isn't just my box. The Dish tech person is the one that told me to look at this forum.

. The Dish tech person is the one that told me to look at this forum.

a compliment to Mark for doing a great job with this site but seems a bit embarassing for Dish that instead of being able to answer or solve a problem the Dish's CSRs and engineers refer people to a 3rd party website.

That's why we're here, and why I do this.
