I was watching 8-1 live.
I pressed DVR, selected a show.
What I got was a couple of frames from the 8-1 broadcast, side by side, jumping back and forth between the 2 frames (making the morning show people look like Max Headroom).
Interestingly the frame on the left and the frame on the right are not the same. They are different shots from the show I was watching live.
In fact, this recording seems to be unplayable. Whenever I play it, I get the "jumping frame" thing of whatever I was viewing last (be it live or another recorded show). Fast forwarding or rewinding displays lots of garbage, which is what remains if I try to resume playback.
The show was the movie Barbershop on Showtime at 7:00pm last night. That show was split by a reboot at 8:07, the second segment plays fine.
