Locals quality improved

It could be the fact that I got a new 721 receiver but my locals picture quailty seems to have improved. They are brighter and less pixelization.

Did you change any types of inputs or cabling? I noticed when i tried different inputs on my 508 pvr and my 301, the picture quality does differ receiver to receiver. Learned that from first hand experience. My 301 has better picture quality on my local channels than my 508. I guess it just depends on the receiver you use.

I have gone through 3 different receivers in 3 weeks

5000-locals were pixelated..especially when they went to a black screen..unfortunatelly, that receiver blew up
301-much better than the 5000
508-pixelation but not as bad the 5000

The only other reason I can think of in my case is the 301 was put in one day after Duluth locals were put up on 110, maxing out TP8 (where Mpls had locals) with 12 channels.
