Saw a bunch of 811's on Ebay

Is it safe to buy from Ebay? Will D* give me a problem becasue of the "2nd hand" nature of the product?

First off - "D*" = DirectTv, we use "E*" for Echostar.

Second - depends, get the R number and the S number of the card from the seller so you can verify that they don't have huge PPV balences on them. Also check with the seller that he has released the receiver from his account (and not just de-activated it) - you won't be able to activate it on your account until he does.

And you shouldn't have any problem from E* as long as Para 2 is followed.
