Channel cut off?

Time Line:from Houston,TX to Amherst,MA.


In Houston, we had all channels, but when we moved
we decided to just get the Arabic chans (Parents).

We have two units, one up stairs which gets ONLY ARABIC
and then one unit downstairs that got all channels.

Recently the one down stairs got switched off and only receives
the Arabic, when for the best few months we have been getting
the english aswell with all the showtime stuff.


Did Dish Network recently reset accounts?
What is this due?

If I understand what you are doing, you moved from Houston to Amhurst. In Houston you subscribed to English channels and probably cancelled when you moved and subscribed only to the Arabic services. If, when you cancelled the English channels, you didn't have the dish plugged into the box you missed the signal to shut those channels off. Eventually Dish resent that signal and you were updated to what the subscription is supposed to be, that is the Arabic channels only.

What's the question?

You said you no longer pay for the English programming, so... Order the services you want, and pay your bills. If you have a blue card receiver and you receive programming a bit longer than you should, you can gloat briefly, but don't complain when it stops.

In no means was I complaining--I was just curious on why it had stopped.

Now I understand, that evry few months DN sends out reload signals.
