New installation question about multiswitches

I just went to Circuit City and bought my equipment for the switch from Dish Network to DirecTV. I got the dish and 2 DirecTivos (The HDTivo is on order), so I will have a total of 3 DirecTivos. My question is which multiswitch do I need for this setup? I will only have 3 receivers, but I need 6 outputs from the dish, correct? So, do I need the 5X8 multiswitch that they sold me, or would the smaller switch work since the dish has a multiswitch built in?

Just wondering if I could have gotten by with the $50 switch instead of the $150 one.

you need the 5x8 multiswitch. make sure it's cascadable.
