Hockey:Unsportsmanlike Conduct- Diving?

The absurd diving that has been going on in these games has to stop. I would love to see someone called for diving, not the penalty and a diving call, just diving.

I thought playoff hockey was about being tough, not falling over whenever someone touches you. The Colorado/LA and Montreal/Boston games had more than their share of Best Actor nominees. :D

Diving is a specialty imported from Europe, especially Russia

Get to the root of the problem. Players wouldn't dive if refs called it like it is in the rule book. If they called the obstruction hooking etc penalties, you wouldn't see guys falling over themselves as soon as their elbow got tapped by someones stick.

Can't fault the players for taking advantage of poor officiating. All I know is they should give out a Best Diver award at the end of the season, Teemu would win hands down every year, he's perfected the art.
