D* HD Upgrade Sat Dish Triple LNB

A friend has D* and wants to upgrade to HD. He wants to get a HDTivo of course. But he will need to ugprade his single LNB dish to triple. How should he go about this?

I saw that D* has a HD upgrade offer on their website, but it looks like it requires the purchase of a HD STB (non Tivo) from them.

I'm sure any retailer or DirecTV will give him a free Tri-LNB dish with a $1k purchase.

Depending on which dealer you get a HD Tivo from, they should include the triple lnb dish and/or installation.

Worst case is that all Circuit City's and Best buys carry them in stock for $99.00.

If he lives in a market that will be getting locals from 119, all he needs do is call and he will get a dish for free.

If he just calls DirecTV and is willing to make a commitment, the proper dish should be provided for nothing or nominal. If he has a standard instalation, the new dish will just bolt on, no need for an installer.
