Some of the new June4th Locals not working

THey advertised Channel 32 PBS in Omaha. It was even in todays paper (full paged ad).

It was on for a couple of Hours Friday Night.

It has not been on since.


Is there something wrong with 7s or are they not done moving all the locals to the 101 sat?

Probably a problem with that channel getting the signal to DirecTV.

I bet your right.

I did more research the way DIsh Network does it is remap the Des MOnies Iowa channel to the Coundcil Bluff channel number (council bluffs is just across the river from OMaha).

Must be a remaping problem. I wonder if they even know it.

Aslo all new locals will have a 60 to 90 day "test" period so all problems can be worked out.

You should contact the Iowa Public Broadcasting office and talk with the chief engineer. Let the engineer know that the Omaha market can't see channel 32 on DirecTV. You will probably get faster results that way.

I served as a summer missionary to the inner city Omaha Baptist Center 10 years ago. Omaha is a neat city. :)

I called Directv, and they said it's a known problem, and that they're are working to correct it.
