phili ota channel 57-1 question

this is for those of u who live in the philiy pa area ive noticed that the upn station over here 57-1 is transmitting picture but no sound i would like any of u can find out for me if your also having this same problem i recieve all other ota digital signals fine and dandy thank you in advance

You need to call your local station and tell them you have no audio from the OTA signal.

And, one other thing. Please use capital letters and punctuation in your posts. :)

Many time as the service begins their digital broadcasting you will see glitches like this.

I just went through this and had the problem corrected. I live in the Philly market. After speaking with engineers at UPN and Samsung we determined it is a mapping issue with D*. If you have the Samsung 160 call Samsung technical help and ask for Steve in New Jersey. He will walk you through what must be done but be sure you are in front of the t.v. when you call.

Hey dude I live in Conshy, and I don't get sound on 57-1 OTA. I have the samsung HDTV box. My buddy lives in the Reading area and he is getting the same problem, so it's definetly not just you.

Hey wipeout is that the samsung 160 or the 360 cause i have the 360 and if its a mapping issue woulndt a manual scan od off air digital correct this
