i was surfing the guide today and came across EWTN hmmmmm i thought directv only had this in spanish

I also have the nasa channel Now I did not have these 2 channels before anyone but me have em ???

I've had them for quite some time. I honestly don't remember how long though.

June 1st they moved from 119 to 101. Both services have been on Directv for quite awhile.

well i dont go down that end of the directv dial very often so today was the first day i noticed it sorry for the post

I've been getting that channel since I got DirecTV, some 3+ years ago.
I believe it flipped from Spanish to English about a year ago.

You'll also notice a few other channels, RFD TV and BYU TV, also in the 370 range.

Absolutely don't appoligise for posts. The whole purpose of BBs is to learn and share.

To sum up, DirecTV just moved RFD-TV (rural lifestyles), BYU-TV (LDS religion), EWTN (Catholic religion), and NASA-TV (space program) from the "side" 119 location, where only subscribers with a triple LNB dish could receive them, to the "main" 101 location. These will show up as "new" channels to people with single LNB systems.
