Do you need a 22" Dish to run the Legacy twin LNB? Is this the LNB that has built in sw21 switches? I have a older 18" Dish 500

The twin runs on the same Dish 500 as everything else. It's the dish with the yolk (plastic y) on the end. You can use 2 duals, a twin or a quad on that same dish.

There is no such thing as a 18" dish 500
The Dish 300 was an 18" and could pick up just one satellite (119 or 110)

i have a 311 that will do a correct swith test with states its a twin and then in the other room i have a 3900 and it wont detect the switch....so what do i have to do to get both irds to work...i know the switch is good but do i need a diff. one and its a dish500...anybody know????thanks

Mike: bigrick is not the best communicator (neither am I) but he does what he says. Bought 3 dishes and didn't hear a whole lot from him but the dishes showed up. Be patient I think whatever you paid for will show up.
