Hey people,

How's this for a summer HDTV wish. Let's start a thread on this subject. What if E* brought together a PPV package for NBC Olympics coverage in HDTV. Watching the Olympics in 1080i would be too cool!! Pros, cons? Can it be done/pulled together before the torch rolls into Athens Stadium? :hurah:

PPV package failed years ago. The Triplecast I believe it was called?

From other forums they state that the hd will be a day and a half delayed also...

Well since Dish ditched the Events channel for bandwidth to add TNT-NON-HD it's not even feasable.

Good idea, but doesn't your local OTA NBC station broadcast in HD? Our NBC affiliate here will be broadcasting the olympics in 1080i HD as fed by the network, and I'll be recording it on my PVR for evening viewing......G

ahh, thats just the thing guruka, your local nbc affiliate is also mine... even though I'm hundreds of miles away and kobr does not translate hd , thats why we need hd nets up there. I did get an e-mail from the koat engineer stating that he would like to work with krqe and kasa in trying to get us hd down here in a co-operative effort(said nothing about kob) :)
