Maybe someone else has had this happen?
I had a multisat install last night and my triple head multisat dish fails to pull in 119* at all? The other two 101* and 110* are both recieving high 90% signal. Autoconfigure switch always reverts back to oval 2 selection on both installed recievers. I'm wondering perhaps LNB Unit is dead on delivery? I've never had this ever happen before? Most times simple installs I just pull in 101 peaked to high and 110 and 119 also come right in. All tiers of DTV Tech support left little help whatso ever .
Any sugestions??

Have you tried not using "Autoconfigure"? Try going to "Dish Type" and selecting "Oval Dish 3"

Yes I did do it manually as well but still refuses to show any signal. I have wide open line of site, and the guide is showing all the local channels but you cannot jump to any of them. Still searching for signal.
About the only thing i did not try is moving the fittings on the LNB Hub to the first 2 connectors from the left side. This though should not make any difference as all four ports should have the same values. Normally I put a 2 ft jumper on first port on the left for easy servicing.
I never have seen the inside of one of these Lnb's or seen any schematics or tech specs on them to better understand or possible on-site troubleshoot the bloody thing.

Are these new receivers that have the 22K signal to make the multiswitch receive and convert the local signals? Does this occur on more then one receiver? Do you have the correct "tilt" angle? Do you get a message bar on the screen telling you to contact some customer service number?

All of the IRD's are the new SD-HBH Hughes and are for the multi-sat dishes. The tilt for the dish in our area is 69* and it is set. The symtoms are varied on both IRD's both refuse to pull 119* signal. New wrinkle is customer has been in touch with me and says one of the Ird's can't locate any birds now and the other one is only recieving partial channels on the primary 101* feed. This has happened before a couple a weeks back at another site and I thought It was a spot beam issue?? Also all the fittings are compression and areperfectly seated and all the barrowls are 3ghz and the ground block is also 3ghz.
DirecTV is the easiest of dishes with only one LNB and even with three we still point and aim it just like the 101* dish. It pains me to troubleshoot a dish system that I enjoy so much.

Sure sounds like a bad multiswitch. You might try disconnecting one of the coax cables at the ground block and see if you are getting the DC switching voltage and the 22khz 119degree signal at the coax end. Any possibility of moisture getting into the ground block or the LNB connections?

I carry an extra Phase 3 dish so I can swap out the LNB to eliminate it as the problem.

All the exposed fittings have a combo of rubber grommet and di-electric on the threading. And On install the copper terminals on all fittings were scraped clean as well.
I think i should go with my gut instint and just swap the darn head out .
Thanks everyone ,
