Transponder Question

All of my even transponders come in at significantly lower strength than do the odd ones on both 119 and 110. Odd ones come in right around 100+- and my even come in as low as around 40 for 119 tr 18 which will not lock (I can't get MMusic, Nick...). The other evens are 60 - 80 but I don't think that is as good as it should be.

I do not have any obstructions and I have run new RG-6 cable to make sure that isn't the problem.

Any ideas or comments?? :shrug:

Are you running the coax coming to your receiver through a surge protector? I had the same problem, and resolved it by bypassing the coax surge protector.

Good point, I did have one but when I ran the new coax I bypassed the protector out of laziness

My even transponders have always been weaker signal, but now do not show any signal. Did something die?
