Exec Featured in 'American Casino' Found Dead

A hotel executive who's featured prominently in the Discovery Channel series "American Casino" was found dead earlier this week.

The paper also reports that Discovery has stopped filming on the show, at least for the time being. The network couldn't be reached for comment on Tata's death.

Sad news. Tata is a local guy from the Buffalo suburb (and the wealthiest town in Western NY) Amherst.

We're awaiting toxicology reports from our Coroner's office but they take 14 days.

GVR is our nearest casino but we're not high rollers - we prefer the 1c slots, the $s go further and the drinks are still free!

Man, that's sad news. I started watching the show last weekend. I watched the marathon of the first 5 shows and then watched the 6th Friday. I liked Tata and noticed that he was not on Friday's episode. I know that it was filmed way before his death, but I wonder if they cut some sections he was in.
