Incase no one has heard the news yet (or even cares) NWA:TNA will broadcast their weekly ppv on E* starting July 21. SO if you have been a WWE fan and have grown tired of lame ass storylines and no wrestling, this will fix you right up. I have been waiting for this day for 7 months. So when they start i ask as a fellow E* sub please order some of their shows. They are only 10 bucks a week for the some of best wrestling you will have ever seen. Those guys work hard to get this deal and i ask for all wrestling fans sopport on this. Beileve me once you se a show and watch one X-division match i wont have to ask you to order anymore cause you will be hooked just like i got hooked a year ago. thanks for your time

Not that there's anything wrong with it.

I guess DirecTV's deal with NWA TNA expired, and they are no longer available there. They are trying to get a new contract, but no luck yet.

So let's see....wrestling with no story lines still equals a fake sporting event with a predetermind outcome.....just without one sweaty guy on roids threating to take the other's former stripper/turned manager if he *wins* the match that someone else decided the outcome on?

Sign me up!

Funny not one wrestling fan had anything to say positive about this only people who beleive the stereo type of what "WWE" has branded in to your brains.not sure if you got my mesg when i started this thread but what i was trying to say was this "wrestling" company needs us "wrestling fans" sopport because they worked so hard to get this deal. It took the 2 years and 6 months and 21 days to get this contract with E*. so if you dont mind insted of being so negative about it watch a show on firday at 3 on fox and see for yourself. i know this is like sitting outside swatting flies but really do you have to be SO negative. i just ask for you guys sopport thats all.

I think it's a GREAT thing. I've watched TNA, and it will definitely silence a lot of critics of WWE.

One thing I learned in my many years of being a fan. Trying to make a non believer(For Lack Of A Better Word) understand why we watch or would want to watch is a lost cause. I just keep quiet and let them tell me how their reality shows went the night before and just laugh. Anyone who thinks those shows are not tweaked and changed to make them more interesting to the audience is a closet pro wrestling fan, lol.

I've seen some of the shows (mostly through the X-plosion highight show...but a bout a month or so ago, they use to show clips of matches. Now they don't even show those)

I think I would rather spend my money on other promotions..IWA Mid-South, Mid American Wrestling...much better IMO :)

Awesome, I've been waiting for TNA on Dish for months now. Just check out TNA Impact! on Fox Sports Net Fridays at 3PM local time, it's totally different from WWE.

This WWE vs. NWA argument is like arguing which is better for your teeth, Coke or Pepsi. They're both bad. But, lots of people drink them. And, the people that seem to have strong preferences for one or the other, for some strange reason.

I am assuming you have some kinda point to make?

While I was never a true "mark" as wrestling calls its fans I used to watch occasisonally. It provide me with amusement and I never really thought about whether it was "bad for my teeth" (but it is probably bad for the wrestler's teeth). But in the last several years the plot lines have become so complex that you have to watch every week and I don't have the time or the patience.

But having one dominant uberfederation is probably a bad thing. So it is good when the other circuits get a bit of attention. In small doses I find it entertaining.
