I just bought a used desotop pc for $125 from a neighbor who is moving. It's a Quantex P2 MMX, 6 gig, 2x32RAM, Win98, 17" mon, boom mic, speakers w/sub, Canon BJ printer, and all docs. It also has a built-in Zip100 drive which I can use to review/erase a stack of old Zip disks. Before I bought the pc, I used Belarc Profile Advisor to take a look at the system parameters of the pc.

I'll probably sell it or give it away when I'm through checking it out. A friend told me she would like to get a pc for her daughter to use. I guess I had her in mind when I decided to buy an old pc I didn't need in the first place.

I have been using Belarc for several years. It originally was included in some software I had purchased (I don't remember what it was). It really works great.
