How to get Dallas locals [Archive]

I have been able to get the dallas locals on my dishtv up until this week. I just give my physical address as in dallas texas (I live in the midwest) and it worked. now apparently there is a spot beam problem. can anyone give me an idea how it might be possible to get these dallas locals in any other manner??? thanks for the help

JohnH's reply is the only valid answer, hacker or not....

Dallas was going to be leaving Conus beams for a spotbeam, so it looks like they may have done it.

I still have them and I live 2 1/2 hours away from DFW. I am grandfathered in right now, till the end of the year or I put up my superdish to get the locals in the city I live in now, whichever comes first.

You must be within the spotbeam area. They are not on ConUS beam anymore.

Yep. You have to live in the spotbeam footprint. :)
