Switching to DTV and have a question about NFL Preseason...

I am switching from Dish to DirectTV. I will be signing up for NFL Sunday ticket and HD package. Here are my questions...

1) Will I be able to see the preseason games in HD or is that a PPV event that I would have to purchase?
2) Will any of the games in the Sunday Ticket be in HD, or just whatever is on CBS?

1) Directv does not have the rights to the preseason games. If the preseason games are in HD they go through the network that they are playing on.

2) yes each week, 6 games will be on fox in HD and anywere from 1-3 games will be on CBS in HD

Also, the NFL Channel will show for the first time every pre-season game. Many of them tape delayed the following week of course. DirecTV does carry the NFL Channel as does Voom and many cable systems. But pre-season games have never been a part of the Sunday Ticket package.

And seeing this is the first year, :) none have been carried in HDTV and none have been announced in HDTV.

Does Direct TV have Fox HD? I thought just CBS...

I wasn't aware that anybody other than Directv had the NFL channel. When did that start?
