 My 721 is connected to the 119 feed only. Last night at from 1:00 am to 6:00 am it was raining a lot on my area. When I turned on the 721 at 5:00 pm and press guide, it was not available.

When and how the 721 update the guide (when is using only the 119 feed). Is there a way to force the guide update like in my 301?

Why don't you have both feeds connected?

I live on Puerto Rico and we need to antennas in order to get the 119 and 110 feeds. :eek2:

Try rebooting the receiver. It takes a while to come back up but should bring down the guide.

How does I reboot the 721 without losing my saved programs?

Hold the power button in for about ten seconds. The machine will restart and reload itself. It will not delete any of your timers or previously recorded programs.

Rebooting will NOT cause you to lose any saved programs. Just like when your power goes off you don't lose any programs.

Which power button, one the remote or on the 721 unit?

I would just do a check switch procedure, which should restore everything. If not, here's a tip. Sometimes when this happens the unit can get confused about parameters still in the switch matrix. If nothing else works you can disconnect all RF feeds, do a check switch (which clears the matrix) and then reconnect and do another one. It works.
