Dock-N-Talk Will This work for Tivo

I was trying to find a way to get rid of my land line and came across this product.http://www.mylinkline.com/Dock_N_Talk_Features.htm
I was wondering if anyone has this and if so does it work for Tivo to call out from your cell phone?

I'd doubt it. They do not even say it works with fax machines or modems.
Plus any dialed data connections via a cell phone are only 14k, and I think the Tivo requires 33.6k. (except for a high speed data service like Sprint PCS or Verizon, which would require a PC connection via USB)
Check out Tivocommunity.com as there have been a few people that have hacked a Tivo to use a broadband connection. I am not sure if anyone has got Vonage to work on a Tivo.

They have. You have to buy an external USRobotics 56k modem or 33.6k modem and hook it up via the serial port. Then you have to change the settings in the tivo to utilize the serial port and give it a few modem codes and thats it.
