What types of reset are available for th 721?

I want to know what types of reset options are available for the 721. Which ones keep my recordings and favorites and which ones erase everything. :confused:

Generally, holding the power button for 10 seconds, pulling the smart card and waiting for the sysinfo screen and putting it back in, and unplugging the unit for 30 seconds(to let the drive spin down properly) will do a reboot without trashing anything.

There's the final reset. But, that involves a very large steel mallet, which you may not have on hand.
