Thought I'd ask here first instead of calling E. Since the test on my 7200 show main unit and satellite ok, maybe something at the dish is bad, or going bad?

Huh? I think you've left a huge thing out - like what the problem is?

Woops. When I change a channel on my dp, it comes up black, and maybe after over a minute, comes on, or it will say no signal, when the channel I was changing to was fine. And the same thing with my model 1000.

Ah - the fact that it's on 2 separate boxes pretty much means it ain't the receiver. :)

So, the next thing we need to know is what the configuration is - Dish 500 is likely, and so is Legacy and not DishPro (look for big DP logos on teh backs of the LNBFs).

So it comes down to a pair of Dual LNBFs with a pair of SW-21s, or a Twin LNBF. Go here (http://www.switchinfo.info/lnbs.html) for some help in figuring out what kind of gear you've got. Maybe your Check Switch or Point Dish screens will tell you.

Once we know that, we can continue - although if you can, tell us more about which channels are trouble (or all of them).

I have a twin LNBF with a sw-21. As far as the channel thing, it did it a lot on ch 112, but was also ramdon. Is there something you could have me try now, with the receivers, that might tell you more? Thanks

Sounds like the switch to me
