I am curious about something, my locals became available and depending on what csr I spoke with got conflicting answers about if they are available and the procedure, my son has Direct and weeks before the locals became available he was bombarded with mail and telephone calls, even messages on his receiver asking him if he wanted to sign up, does Dish do this also, from what I can see they are very lax in their marketing procedures, and if I was not a member of this forum I would of not known that locals were available.

II never saw anything from E* when my locals became available. As for the CSR issue - welcome to the game of CSR roulette. :D

At least once a week since Dish locals have been avaiable here, there has been a full page ad for Dish in the local paper.
There's been diddlely squat from Directv except for two or three things in the mail plus I think one phone call. And I got those only because I'm a Directv subscriber.
