Expressvu HD Install!

Just got it today and wasted no time to install and sit back and watch 25 channels of HD.

So what kind of receiver is that??? I know it's a 6120, but your remote looks like it's got PVR controls (in fact, it looks exactly like my 921 remote), but that sure doesn't look like a 921, and their website doesn't say it's a PVR, and I think they'd be bragging about that.

It's the VU version of the 811, the 811 has the same remote as well. The 811 and the 921 use the same remote.

Oh and I love that box, gotta love Canada's passion for Hockey

Ah - gotcha. Wonder how long it's going to be before someone hacks a 921 to work with ExpressVu?

I guess Vu will eventually release their 921 receiver, or maybe not...

Yeah that's what I said, great box. My friend just got a 921 and he is using my superdish I bought and we know now that Vu is bringing out the 9100pvr before christmas and a 522 version of dishs dual pvr. This unit does not have a smart card and is really hard to purchase, alot of rules even for a exsiting customer like my self, to stop people from walking in and buying and then never subscribing and selling them on ebay or hacking the unit. It works!
