Does Anyone Know How To Force The Hughes Sdhbh Receiver To Upgrade The Software? I Have Had It Almost A Year And Havent Received Any Software Upgrades! I Have Had Phillips Receiver Less Than 6 Months And It Has Already Had 2 Upgrades! Please Post Answer Soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not turn it off at night leave it in stand-by mode and it should get the upgrade over night

I have a Hughes HAH-SA Receiver and I was wondering how do I know if I got the current version of the software in the upgrades screen it says I have version 6093 is that the most current version. Thanks.

You do not have the most current software. Software version 6125 is the upgrade for your model receiver. I think the upgrade is over. They apparently pulled it for some reason. In my opinion, I believe it was pulled so people would buy this new D10 receiver. Why would they upgrade people's receivers and fix the bugs when they are trying to market the new receiver. FWIW I have seen the D10 and let's just put it this way....."I wish we still had competition for receivers at D*". This receiver blows in my opinion. Also, it is manufactured by Thomson (RCA), so expect it to last no longer than 6 months before needing to be replaced. Thanks Rupert.

the sd-hbh does not have a standby mode. I advise resetting the unit by unplugging it for 15 seconds and then plug it back in. leave it on over night and it should update. just turn your tv off.

My Receiver finally upgraded this morning I now have version 6125 and also have some new channel logos. Spiketv, Fuse, Trio, HSN, America's Store have channel logos now.

DID IT UPGRADE BY ITSELF OR DID YOU MAKE IT UPGRADE IF SO HOW?
