I am a recent convert to Direct TV, and got a SAT W60 box for next to nothing after rebate from American Satellite. I love it, but I have a few technical questions.
Does anyone know what code to use to program the wireless sat w60 keyboard to control my Proton TV? I used code 112 for the handheld remote (a Magnavox code), but it does not work for the keyboard.
Also, how can I get the thing to record a series off HBO, without recording all six showings of each epidode? I checked the "don't record repeats" box, but it still does it. I don't have the same problem with the show "24" on Fox, even though it is repeated once during the week.
Finally, does anyone know what happens if I am watching a show as it is recorded and then press Pause? Can I pick up where I left off, or does it stop recording after half an hour?
