Does anyone have any experience with the picture quality of HDTV from a cable provider as compared to a dish's picture?
I think most people have said they're basically the same...
You might run into some signal issues with the cable if you don't have a powerful cable signal coming in your house though...
This fully depends on your local cable company, and Dish's signal strength. No one, who is not in your local area can tell you the answer.

I have both Dish Network and Adelphia HDTV. As of now my HD locals come with Adelphia. Dish only carries CBS. The picture comparing the two channels.....Adelphia seems to have a better processing within my MOXI box than within my Dish 921. I see lines through graphics here and there with Dish that I don't see with cable. the only downside of Adelphia is that they don't have international channels which what the wife loves.
So I keep both in the living room and pay through the nose for both.

I've had Cox HD, and it doesn't compare very well to DirecTV HD. On Cox there were too many artifcats and there was some ghosting on a few of the channels.

Only diffrence here is that in my town the local cable company offers HD locals ONLY from Philladelphia and only analog from NYC.
Dish/DirecTV offer HD locals ONLY from NYC, nothing from Philly.

Well i had comcast HDTV for like 3 months and i hated it. The only thing good about it was all of you HD Locals. But the others Kept doing the pixel thing on INHD 1 & 2. and the HBO And Showtime. Then when i got dish i thought it looked alot better. Esp DCHD. I am in atlanta by the way.
