I have just bought a elliptical 75cm Channel Master dish.

Are there any technical documents out there that explains the function of the elliptical dishes and how you adjust it for best performance?

I live in Europe so i have modified it for our satellites and multi-feed configuration, i want to know the how large the span is that you can receive with this dish, how far away from focus and what performance in dBi you lose and so on.

All i have found is just sales brochures and pretty much useless information for a technician.

I have seen that some dishes uses a elliptical feedhorn that is different from the plain normal feeds on LNBs, are these elliptical feeds much more efficient than the normal feedhorns?

Who sell those?

If anyone have real documents about these dishes you can email me please.

How do you calculate skew for the dish? i would appreciate the mathematical formula for this as i want to understand myself what i am doing right....

Thanks for any help or input.

Thanks for any help or input.Try contacting Channel Master for the information you want they will be your best source. Even CM will probably have little information of use to you seeing the dish was designed for the US market.
