It's all over the place. Guess it depends on how fast you need it, how much you want, and where you are. Locally, call electronics supply stores, or even Lowe's or Home Depot (watch their prices, tho!). Hit eBay, too.

Yeah I was looking for a place online..The only store I have locally is lowes and there price is out of this world. Free shipping sounds good. what site is it.

How much to you need?

A place like Home Depot really is the best for something like a 500' roll. It's about $50 at my local HD for General Cable RG-6QS. And you don't have to pay shipping.

Stay away from the pretty blue "studio grade" cable, which has the same specs as the black stuff, but costs 3X as much. Same goes for various "monstrous" branded cables.

For smaller lengths, there are several options.

Well Im still figuring out how much I will need. But it will be for 2 Directv tivos I ordered. So I will need 4 runs. I dont have a home depot where I live the closest one is like 3 hours away. Only place I have is lowes and they are too high. So Thats why I was trying to find a good place online that maybe someone else has used before in the past. That had a good price on there cable.

Lowes are very competitive to Home Depot for everything. HD shall not be any cheaper than Lowes. I found RG-6 pretty cheap at Lowes...bought a 50 feet cable for $14! $100 was around $20 I think.

We are talking RG-6 cable are we not???
The last time I was @ lowe's it was $ 42.00 for 500 feet...Very expensive, considering the going price is $38.00/1,000'

I bought mine at Radio Shack. I've only bought it twice over the years, but when I went with the higher grade at RS, I was pretty impressed with the picture improvement. Colors seemed to really pop.
