Someone gave me a direcway dish with LNB. Can it be used for Dish network and do I need a different LNB? Also it has a skew setting. If I want to use it for 61.5 how do I figure the skew for 61.5?
you dont need to do skew for a single dish
It should work. you would have to rig a Dish LNB on it

A Direcway dish is overkill for most places - if it's got the computer hardware with it, you'd be better off selling the DW and buying a Dish 500. You'd make out on the deal.

No computer hardware and I know you don't normally need skew but this is so eliptical I don't think it would work right without a skew setting close to what it should be.
