i have the pansat 2500a i downloaded quick start/x8500. also downloaded str g-tools. i'm not abel to access on the menu the parental control, and channel edit. i have tried to scan satellite, and retry with no luck. i go to menu,system infomation shows, x-8500 api:228c_e boot ver:6.0 04.29.2004 what should i do next? That was a bit harsh, don't you think. How do you know that he wants to hack that FTA receiver? I know nothing of FTA, I did a quick Google search to find out what that receiver was. Maybe you should have done so as well, or not respond in such a harsh manner.
