Transfer mpegs directly from DVR-510

I have a DVR-501 and 2 DVR-510s. Is there any way to use the multi pin port on the back of the unit to transfer the mpegs and audio directly to PC?

I have been using a Dazzle 150 and A/V cables to capture movies but if there were a way to take the file directly to PC then you get the alternate languages, too (ie. spanish).

Well, I don't know about alternate languages, but you want to join the dishmod & dishrip groups at Yahoo. dishrip is unlisted, but you can catch it directly.

Dishrip is the way to go with a 501, then you need to re-encode the MPG stream for DVD burning, although I have heard there are ways around that.
