Judging by the way Charlie answered this question on a Charlie chat I dont think we will be seeing this one anytime soon.
He didn't even know what G4 was and when he asked the peanut gallery if they knew when he heard the word Comcast his answer was a quick dont think so.
This is some good news

They must have special powers at Dish Network.
The page said it was created on 5/9/2001 and says it has never been updated.
The Yankees Yes Network wasnt announce untill September. and G4 was announced somewhere around there too.

We cannot announce new channels until a contract is in place with the provider. However, we are constantly negotiating contracts for the channels that YOU want.
Currently, the most requested channels are:
From the like posted above:
YES (Yankees Entertainment)
Oxygen
National Geographic
Fox Sports 2
G4
*There is no garantee that these channels will be added.*
...and how many of these channels have actually been added since May 2001?
Wow, Oxygen is one of the most requested channels, yet it gets a very dismal Nielsen ratings according to NY Times:
"According to March Nielsen figures, Oxygen is watched each day in an average of only 26,000 households, less than 0.1 percent of the nearly 40 million households that receive it nationwide."

I'm surprised G4 is getting lots of attention.
and I saw a reoprt on Fox news the other nght that oxygen was struggling for oxygen... wonder if it will go the way side of CNN SI?

I am VERY curious as to what will replace CNN / SI on America's Top 150 because I'm SURE CNN / SI takes a good chunk of money for programming price. I really wanna see Trio, Newsworld, Ovation, Oxygen, the music video channels, National Geographic, and more. I dream of the day of America's Top 200. LOL
I'd like the Nmational Geographic myself, i saw this on a no where analog cable in Lousianna over the summera nd liked this channel... Newsworld would be nice too.. Im not real familure with Trio though. I wouldnt mind VH1country, MTV Hits, MTV Jams and the other few music channels though as I primarly like music and was happy when Dish added MM to its lineup in Jan.
