DirecTV Enhances Sunday Ticket

DirecTV has interactive features for its delivery of NFL Sunday Ticket. The "Enhanced Games" offering provides four additional game channels in which NFL Sunday Ticket customers can watch a game and see real-time scores, red zone alerts and time clocks from other games, all on one screen in an "L-wrap" format. On Monday mornings, customers equipped with a DirecTV DVR or high-def DVR receiver will continue to get highlights of NFL games automatically delivered to the digital recorder. And NFL Sunday Ticket GameTracker gives customers alerts via computer when games heat up, allowing fans to tune to the right game for key moments.

Unfortunately the GameTracker is slow. I have a 3MB DSL connection so I know it's not me. When the thing blinks in red for a specific game, they aren't usually already scoring, kicking the extra point, or it's over (one way or the other).

Anyone else with more luck with the GAmetracker?

I was just about to post that as well. They did it all last year as well.

As for Gametracker, I tried it for the first time last week. Pretty cool little app. Yea it's delayed about a minute or two, but I wouldn't expect anything more then that anyway.

Make sure channels 581 and 582 are part of your channels I receive list. That's what it was last year when people didn't get them. To be honest I haven't checked to see if I got any this week or not.

That may be it, because due to fiddling and more fiddling, I accidentally reset my Channels You Receive to all the channels Sunday night and voila...finally highlights. Lots and lots of highlights.

NOW I'm feeling the joy...
