I have a (I belive) generation 3 Hughes receiver. When I received the multidish to receive my locals, the installer told my wife that the receiver would not receive the locals once they were moved to a different satellite. Well, of course, now the channels are gone. So, I'm in the market for a different receiver.
I might have the option to be given an RCA DRD222RD, which then I would just have to buy the access card. I believe it's a 4th generation. My question is, will it be able to receive my locals, or not? I don't want to go through the time and expense if it's not, but I haven't found a definite answer one way or the other during my search.
