View Full Version : Older Travel-Sat system
I have purchased a conversion bus which has a Travel-Sat Dish on the roof. It's a type where you punch im your heading, etc. and it moves to that location. I am wanting to use it with a DirecTV satellite receiver. My problem is where I live, it should be 208 deg and 41 deg. It looks like it travels to the correct 208, but the 41 does not look like the angle on my house dish. Any suggestions? Are they still in business? Thanks

Maybe the angle of the arm for the LNB is different. The one on my MH is shorter than the one on the house so elevation angle is different.

Don't use the dish face as a guide to elevation. Remember your geometry. Angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence. Look at the angle from the LNB to the center of the dish and then look up from that.
