Report Finds Digital Cable Subscribers are More Satisfied Than Analog Subscribers
DBS Still Leads in Customer Satisfaction
57% of digital cable subscribers say that they are very satisfied with their cable company. This compares favorably to 48% of analog cable subscribers who rate their overall satisfaction with their cable operator as an 8-10 on a ten-point scale. However, Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) subscribers rate their provider the highest, with 67% rating their DBS company an 8-10. These are just a few of the findings from an upcoming research report, “The Digital Cable Divide,” by Leichtman Research Group, Inc.
