Directv is offering a DVR for 100 dollars with a mail in re-bate of 50 bucks.
The DVR is band RCA and is 40 GB which is about 35 hours of Recordable programing storage.

Take Them up on the offer..Heck! but 2 for 100..

Maybe they are trying to rid the extra stock before they release their new DVR receivers.

DIRECTV's $50. rebate offer is only available for new subscribers and is limited to one DVR. DIRECTV is moving out the old 40 GB models.

Some dealers, including my company are offering the new 80 GB DIRECTV TiVo DVR with the same DIRECTV rebate.
