I have 2 Recievers (D-VHS and 2700) with Dish 500 and 61.5

61.5 Works fine on 2700

On the D-VHS I happen to do a check switch and suddenly got this

http://img55.exs.cx/img55/7498/7345.jpg

When I go bck to see Signal Strength for 61.5, it shows it's a 119

Changed transponders

I do check switch, no luck, go back, YES, find 61.5, check switch again, same as above

I removed the coax, re-inserted, no success

Any CLUE?

If the SW21s are close to each other try swapping the cables from 61.5 between the SW21s.

So you have cascaded SW21's, I thought that was not possible

Not likely cascaded SW21's since it works on his 2700.

I switched the places of SW21, its working now

BTW

61.5 -->2700, Dish 500+61.5--->D-VHS

61.5(Dual LNB)

Probably corrosion on cable from 61.5 dish to SW-21 or corrosion starting to form on Sw-21 itself. It might be a good idea to keep your eye out for a good buy on a SW-21 as a spare. :)

No, he probably has a 500Twin w/ an SW21 for the 61.5

What Larry said!

"SW21 3-SAT" indicates a Twin or Quad along with a Single or Dual.

It is NOT at all, ever possible to cascade 2 SW-21's. It CAN be done with a SW-21 and a SW-21X. IIRC, that last is a Microyal device that is in effect half of a SW-42. That is 2-in, 1-out, but responds to the SW-42 command set.
