This is a partial list of shows that have repeat airings on different channels, have a common title, or have a common theme. Some shows will air on a network channel and then repeat on a cable channel within a week. Rather than program and reprogram a season pass, you can use a Title wishlist and thus put those shows on a lower priority than other shows. The exact way to enter the title will be shown in this font.

Please note that cable-only shows often have several airing scheduled, and are not listed here.

The Amazing Race - CBS lists this show with a number afterwards. Each time, you have to reprogram the season pass or set up a wishlist that says Show Types/Game Show & "AMAZING RACE".
Astro Boy - This series has bounced between KidsWB and Cartoon Network. You can try to catch the episodes as Themes/Animation & "ASTRO BOY"
CSI - To record all three shows of the franchise, you can put in a wishlist for "CSI".
Law & Order - To catch all three series of the franchise, you can put in a wishlist for LAW ORDER
Rave Master - Because you cannot program a season pass for this series, you have to create a wishlist for Themes/Animation & "RAVE MASTER"
Survivor - To catch each episode of the series no matter what the location, set up Show Types/Game Show & "SURVIVOR"
24 - F/X used to repeat the series aproximately one week after airing on Fox Television, and has been known to repeat the series over Labor Day weekends. Set up a wishlist for Themes/Mystery/Crime & "24"
Veronica Mars - This series airs originally on UPN and re-airs on MTV. To record this series, use VERONICA MARS

What took you so long? I got tired of having to set up season passes for each Survivor, etc. eons ago.

A couple of tips:

- use wildcards, but sparingly (ex: "SURVIVOR*") (* = slow motion key on the remote)
- keyword wishlist != title wishlist (!= is not equal for you non-programmers)

For instance, if you did a keyword wishlist on "SURVIVOR" you might find you get shows about cancer survivors, etc. because it is in the description for the program. Sometimes this is a good thing (if you have a particular topic, etc. you'd like to get all shows that might have something on it), sometimes it isn't what you want.

I'm set up about half auto-record wishlists, some title and some keyword, and the other half are normal season passes. Several of my wishlists are things that hit only once or twice a year, but then I never have to worry about trying to remember what time of year it is and to look for it. (A few of those are for my wife.)
