setup for hdtv

I have a dish 5000 and am thinking of upgrading to the 6000 to receive hd. My problem is that I cannot see the 61.5 sat. Is there an alternative or am I going to be forced to change to direct tv.

You might be able to see 148....

I second Neil's answer - I'm blocked from 61.5 here in Denver, but I have a clear LOS to 148.

I checked the 148 sat and the elev. is only 19 deg.
Will I get any distortion at that low an elev.

If you have a clear line of sight you should be fine. If you do I suggest getting rid of the 5000 for a 6000. You will thank me later. :D
